Tonight Bishop's Stortford Acoustic Club brings you a triple headline featuring Jo Ash + Claudia McKensie and Romy Gensale.
Claudia plays a colourful mixture of musical styles. Mellow yet uplifting acoustic sweetness with hints of soul, jazz, folk and a good sense of fun!!
Claudia has being one of Cambridge's busiest bass players for well over a decade and currently plays with Cambridge Band Competition winners 4th Labyrinth. 3 years ago she decided to focus on her own songwriting and has been playing solo acoustic gigs as well as fronting her own band "Claudia & the Braidy Bunch".
Captivating singer-songwriter Jo promises dynamic vocal performances accompanied by expressive piano playing. Often likened to Kate Bush and Siouxsie Sioux but maintaining uniqueness in style Jo also fronts rock band, Derecho. She has appeared at Cambridge Rock Festival, Strawberry Fair and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
London born Romy and regular headliner of such venues as The Marquee, Borderline, Powerhaus, Dingwalls and infamous Fulham Greyhound with former London bands, now goes solo to encapsulate the dramas of life in her own unique and eclectic style with acoustic guitar and powerful vocals.

BSAC is Bishop’s Stortfords longest running Acoustic night who opened their doors in 2002, founded by Keef Jackman and Drew Bonnington, and over the years have featured, then unkown acts, such as Sam Smith, Matt Cardle, George Ezra, Charlie XCX, Eric Roache and Jon Gomm to name but a few!
With a strong tradition of promoting every genre of Acoustic Music from seasoned veterans to youngsters making their first appearances, BSAC welcome all!
