8.30pm - 11.00pm. £6 adv / £7 door

Tonight Bishop's Stortford Acoustic Club brings you a triple headline featuring Jo Ash + Claudia McKensie and Romy Gensale.

Claudia plays a colourful mixture of musical styles. Mellow yet uplifting acoustic sweetness with hints of soul, jazz, folk and a good sense of fun!!
Claudia has being one of Cambridge's busiest bass players for well over a decade and currently plays with Cambridge Band Competition winners 4th Labyrinth. 3 years ago she decided to focus on her own songwriting and has been playing solo acoustic gigs as well as fronting her own band "Claudia & the Braidy Bunch".

Captivating singer-songwriter Jo promises dynamic vocal performances accompanied by expressive piano playing. Often likened to Kate Bush and Siouxsie Sioux but maintaining uniqueness in style Jo also fronts rock band, Derecho. She has appeared at Cambridge Rock Festival, Strawberry Fair and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

London born Romy and regular headliner of such venues as The Marquee, Borderline, Powerhaus, Dingwalls and infamous Fulham Greyhound with former London bands, now goes solo to encapsulate the dramas of life in her own unique and eclectic style with acoustic guitar and powerful vocals.

"Romy has a wonderful texture to her voice that encompasses every emotion vocally and writes with passion." Sue Marchant BBC Regional Radio
